With 20 years of progressive HR experience, Julie founded CultivateHR, realizing a long-held dream. Her passion for helping others, combined with specialized knowledge and expertise, is at the core of CultivateHR.

Experience
Julie has 20 years of progressive HR experience in various industries, such as healthcare, renewable energy, and critical infrastructure. Throughout her career, she has established, developed, and led key areas of Human Resources, including communications and strategy, talent engagement and management, compliance, and mergers and acquisitions. Julie is a Gallup-certified strengths leadership coach and is a respected thought leader who inspires teams through periods of rapid growth, implementing new programs, and establishing scalable infrastructure.
Community and Family
Julie is dedicated to cultivating kindness, confidence, community, dreams, and purpose. She mentors and coaches emerging talent and is actively involved in her community as the Human Resources Chair on the Board of Directors for Operation Food Search in Saint Louis, Missouri.
Julie is also passionate about our environment and serves as a Walton County Sea Turtle Ambassador in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida.
Julie is married to her amazing husband, Kurt, and is a dog mom to Daphne and Phoebe. She enjoys traveling, working in her garden, and spending time with her nieces and nephews.
Education
Julie holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Southern Illinois University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Missouri, Saint Louis, and is a Gallup-certified strengths-based leadership coach.
She is active in the Human Resources field through membership in the Society for Human Resources Management, the Human Resources Association, and the International Coaching Association. Julie is a lifelong learner, attending numerous education and training sessions.
